The Hispanic Alliance for Progress Institute (HAPI) is a public policy and advocacy
organization focusing on issues of importance to the Hispanic Community. HAPI promotes
the implementation of innovative public policies of its 501C-3 organization, while
creating a “best in class” model for civic education and issue advocacy. HAPI is
a 501(c)(4) organization.
MISSION:
Promote policy and legislation to advance traditional Hispanic values,
economic prosperity, and entrepreneurship.
OPERATIONS:
HAPI continues developing the infrastructure and membership network
to effectively reach a significant number of Hispanic Americans for issue education
and targeted advocacy campaigns. HAPI fills a significant void by advocating the
voice of the conservative Hispanic Community.
GOALS:
- Develop core membership nationally through a state by state organization. Organize
at the city, then precinct level in key states. Emphasizing data collection and
database building: grasstops and grassroots
- Impact legislation on issues of importance such as: Trade, Financial Literacy, Education,
Immigration, and other issues falling under the “Ownership Society” umbrella.
- Enact an advocacy model to motivate members of Congress reflecting the desires and
needs of the Hispanic community.
- Provide Hispanic leadership, participation, and research for major Washington based
coalitions and advocacy.
- Leverage and utilize technology: emails, website, interactive telecommunications,
etc. into all phases of development and execution.
- Develop a top level benefits program, providing needed services at a lower cost.
- Create partnerships with like-minded organizations and corporations to initiate
programs to positively impact the community.
